13-Piece Ironstone Miniature Child’s Dollhouse Tea Set
Superb white pottery tea set from the 19th century. It is made of ironstone and has a simple white glaze highlighted by a simple gold ring. Includes teapot w/lid, sugar bowl w/lid, cream pitcher and four cups w/saucers. Very good condition with minor loss to the gold trim, a pair of little chips to the creamer spout and a fleabite on the teapot spout.
There are a variety of impressed marks: The cups have the number 4008 on the side; 2 of the saucers are marked 3387 (or3380?) while one which is a bit smaller is marked 4015; the other pieces are not marked. The teapot measures about 2 1/2 inches, including the lid.
