Genuine Limoges porcelain boxes are hand created in the city of Limoges, France. This is a wonderful heart box with red roses and blue ribbon. Inside there is another porcelain heart! The clasp is a forget-me-not. Perfect little pill or trinket box, or just to collect. It is marked on the bottom: 8/500 Peint Main Limoges France GV (the number indicates this is a limited edition, this being number 8 of 500 made). It is about 1 1/2 inches across.
