Mexican Sterling Silver & Turquoise Miniature Tea Set

Wonderful little mini tea set containing twelve pieces, including lids and tray. The tray is about 2 3/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches. It is hand made with a nice scalloped edge. This is the only piece in the set that is marked: Hecho en Mexico D.F. 925 around an Aztec head profile. The mark indicates it was made in Mexico City, but I cannot identify the silversmith.

The tea set pieces are: one cup, one creamer, one sugar with lid, two sizes of teapots with lids, one teapot on a stand with lid. The teapots range from 1 to 1 1/2 inches tall. All of the lids are topped with turquoise finials. Excellent condition – though a bit tarnished. Weighs about 44 grams or 1.4 Troy ounces.
