Olive Rose Handmade Doll • Maybelle Angel
Olive Rose is a Phoenix doll designer whose hand made dolls have appeared in many magazine publications and books. Maybelle is an angel doll, holding her heart in her hands. This beautiful angel's wings are collaged with music sheets, old book pages and postage stamps. Her face has a sculpted nose, embroidered eyebrows and beads for eyes. Her painted ruby lips almost smile. She wears a fluffy sheer skirt, with tulle petticoats and lacy bloomers. The painted heart she is holding is hand-stitched with sequins and beads. She has a twine hanger on her back and measures about 26".
